A little wedding play

I was editing some images from Alaina and Chris' wedding and got inspired to do some digital play with one of their shots. Thought I'd share the results! (Thanks for the creative challenge, Carole!)

Back from vacation!

We just had a fabulous vacation this weekend at Cape Henlopen State Park! I can't wait to share images with you! We had a bit of rain, but our last full day there ended up being pretty perfect. I do have to share a quote with you from my daughter. (I'll preface by saying that we went on vacation with our friends!) The girls decided to make a run to the store and leave the guys at camp. My twins (one boy, one girl) are very rarely apart. After heading into the first store and returning to the van, my 2 year old daughter yells out, "Oh no! We lost Aidan!" It was sooo adorable! Hope that gave you a smile for the day and images will be coming soon!

Congratulations Alaina and Chris!

You have seen Alaina and Chris grace the top of my blog for quite some time now. This past weekend was their simply fabulous wedding day! Alaina was a gorgeous bride and as I've been going through the images this first thing I noticed is that her handsome groom could not take his eyes off of her! After a 10 year courtship that started in high school, these two deserved nothing less than perfection! The sun was shining, the skies were the most beautiful blue (after a week of rain, rain, and more rain!) and they were surrounded by everyone that loves them. And let me tell you, the reception was fun, fun, fun! First the polkas began, and then the bridal party danced to Billy Idol's White Wedding while donning matching black fedoras! The dancing didn't stop and even continued after the event "ended". A true celebration of Alaina and Chris and their commitment to one another. Enjoy your glimpse, and your new life as husband and wife!

Happy 1st Birthday Little Miss Abigail!

It's hard to believe that it's been about a year since I met this little beauty! This family has been a dream to work with. They are just so natural together and so playful! These are some shots from Miss Abigail's birthday party this weekend. The forecast looked grim, but thankfully the rain held off for the majority of the party. She was such a good little birthday girl and wow, did she _LOVE_ the frosting on her bright pink cupcake! Her daddy kept trying to feed her pieces of the cake, but she wanted nothing to do with the cake. For her, it was all about the frosting! Don't you just love her in all her sweetness?

Introducing Miss Alina, Class of 2010 Model!

Ok, so it's not really an introduction, this isn't the first time I've had the pleasure of having Alina in front of my camera, however, this is the first glimpse into her upcoming senior year! As you will see, Alina is lovely in the dreamy garden shots, but check out how truly captivating her eyes are in her close-up.

Here's a little present for the mother of D'LyndL Photography's next Senior Model... A few little glimpses of the absolutely gorgeous Miss Aubrey! Check out her hair! WOW! Aubrey has been growing her hair out so that she can donate her lovely locks. A beautiful young woman inside and out! We had a fun time and found some great new locations! Senior year will be here before you know it, Class of 2010!
