My first Wedding

Okay, so, I did it... my first wedding! My friend's mom finally got her beautiful princess day after 35 years! What an awesome anniversary present! I can tell you all that it was well worth the wait. Her wedding was just beautiful... and let me tell you what a romantic man she has! You never would have guessed that they have been married for 35 years... they acted like newlyweds, all lovey and kissing, kissing, kissing! I want to be them when I grow up.

This first image is of their granddaughter who was the most precious little flower girl! Can you tell that she is Daddy's girl?

A moment of peace in the bustle

What do you think of these precious little ones? I can tell you that they are certainly busy little people! Ladies, watch out for this handsome little devil in about 20 years! He's quite the gentleman, and very helpful. I told him I was going to hire him to help me setup when I go out on shoots and he was totally up for it! Such a sweetie!

Changes are coming!

I've been practicing some new tricks and I will be updating the portfolios on my site very soon! The most recent addition to the website has been the client login page. You can view your proofs and order prints on-line in the comfort of your home! Also, keep checking back... brand new templates are will be added next, including holiday cards, birth announcements, and even wall templates to give you ideas of how to display your photographs!

Here are a few snapshots of me taken by my handsome husband. I think this was one of the first days I challenged him to use the camera "outside of the green box!" As you can see, I'm not much of a basketball star, but without a doubt, I love photography. This Christmas I had the amazing pleasure of giving two of my dearest friends photographs of their families. At the end of the day as my husband and I were driving home with the kids I looked over at him and shared with him that I just felt _amazing_! The day was so perfect and I was so filled up and so blessed by their reactions to seeing their photographs all put together that I had that moment. That moment where you say, "I get to do that!" Not I have to do that, I should do that, it's my job to do that...
I was able to say, "I get to do that!"

Being able to photograph people is truly a gift. It is a gift that is meant to be passed on and shared with others and I am so blessed and thankful to God to be able to say, "I get to do that!"
